In June of 1997 Jeannie was killed & for 12 years her murder had been an unsolved crime for the
Goodyear Az. Police Dept.. With the advances in the D.N.A. & forensics testing in May of 2009, an
arrest was made for her murder.
She left behind 2 children, daughter Antoinette & son Jessie, father & stepmother Johnny & Shari
Contreras, sisters Gina,Anna,Desiree & Arista, brothers Isidro &Johnny Jr. as well as many family &
friends.
Her son & little sisters (Arista & Des) loved her & have missed her greatly. Her daughter lived in
California & Jeannie was not able to see her as much as she wished. She would talk of her often and
the love she had for her.
There's no way you ever "get over" having someone you loved be murdered. After the past 12 years of
"living" without her, the news that an arrest was made has made the feelings & emotions of her
absence felt again.
She was cremated & her ashes were give to her father.
